Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) worked together with INT. to develop a web application to help their service providers working at different airports of India, submit their financial details in prescribed forms so that their proposals could be reviewed easily – thereby, easing the workload of the AERA officials.
AERA officials were losing out precious man-hours in scrutinizing and approving manually filled-up forms from vendors in bulk.
AERA needed to streamline the lengthy process of reviewing proposals along with the financial details of the service providers.
The process of reviewing involves 77 form fill-ups manually that led to a lot of errors and often at times, omission of important fields.
For auditing the submitted forms, AERA officials had to manually compare capital and operational expenditures, and calculate the profit or loss.
